The Cover Image "Adrenaline Engine" was
created by Jim Foley, the lead Multimedia Developer at Electric Rain (www.erain.com). Electric Rain is a fast moving 3D and multimedia software company with a vision of bringing easy-to-use 3D and multimedia tools to the masses. Adrenaline Engine was adapted from Electric Rain's Experimental showcase Flash Illuminations (http://www.swift3d.com/illuminations/),
a project designed to demonstrate the power of utilizing Macromedia Flash MX and Swift 3D to create compelling real-world 3D Macromedia Flash applications. The racers, shown on the cover, are from Adrenaline, which is an interactive 3D gaming application showcased in Flash Illuminations.
Electric Rain produces plug-ins for LightWave and 3ds max in addition to their standalone product Swift 3D. All of these products are available from Creation Engine.
