My name's Eliot Alexander, and I'm a freelance illustrator here in L.A.

The creation of this image was split fairly evenly between Painter IX and Photoshop CS2, drawing/painting and then color correcting respectively. It depicts a monk who lives high in the mountains and whose job it is to deliver the special remedies and medicines made up in his monastery to the rest of the world. When he leaves on a delivery, the creatures of the mountain come to wish him farewell.
